In line with our mission to drive trade and investment promotion for Nigeria, The Chairman INNOVA Trade and Investment Promotion Foundation LTD/GTE, Mr. Iniabasi Etuk recently concluded a successful engagement at Izmir Chamber of Commerce in Izmir, Turkey, where he led a high-level delegation where meetings were held with The Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Mahmut ERKOC, Turkish counterparts, investors, and business leaders.
The meetings provided a rare opportunity to discuss investment opportunities in Nigeria across key sectors including Agriculture, Real Estate, Solid Minerals, Manufacturing, Textiles, Tourism, Medicals, and International Fairs & Expositions. Turkish partners expressed strong interest in exploring these green areas, particularly with a focus on Nigeria’s vast market potential and growing demand for sustainable development.
One of the most significant outcomes of the discussions was the mutual commitment to deepen Nigeria–Turkey investment ties. Turkish investors and companies emphasized the importance of creating a dedicated platform where business leaders, policymakers, and industry captains from both countries can sit, engage, and explore concrete opportunities for collaboration.
To this end, the Chairman, Mr. Iniabasi Etuk has initiated plans to host the Nigeria–Turkey Investment Summit in Izmir, Turkey, under the theme:
“Destination Nigeria: A Green Haven for Sustainable Investment.”
The summit will be powered by INNOVA Trade and Investment Promotion Foundation LTD/GTE, with support from strategic partners including the All Progressives Congress Youth Entrepreneurs Forum (APC-YEF), and will convene stakeholders such as the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), State Governors, ministries, parastatals, and captains of industries.
This landmark initiative is set to become a game-changer in positioning Nigeria as a prime destination for sustainable investments while fostering deeper economic relations between Nigeria and Turkey.
