In April 2025, the Chairman – INNOVA TRADE AND INVESTMENT PROMOTION FOUNDATION LTD/GTE, Mr. Iniabasi Etuk advanced strategic discussions with Tianjin Cheduo Automobile Import and Export Co., Ltd in Tianjin, China, focusing on the future of sustainable and affordable mobility solutions for Nigeria.
The engagement centered on the importation of electric vehicles (EVs), a step toward reducing transportation costs, cutting emissions, and positioning Nigeria within the global clean energy movement. Building on this, an arrangement is ongoing to establish a joint venture in Nigeria. The plan is to set up a local assembly facility for EVs that will not only make electric cars more accessible but also function as a service and maintenance hub for long-term support and sustainability.
At the same time, the Chairman, Mr. Iniabasi Etuk, explored opportunities in the consumer goods sector, particularly cosmetics. During this trip, he visited cosmetics factories and secured product samples, including hand cream with cucumber extract and feet cream.
